Auto Accident (Whiplash) and Personal Injury

Car accidents like whiplash and personal injuries are frightening things and can have significant consequences for long periods of time. Early treatment can make the difference between a fast recovery and a prolonged one, so it is important to get quality chiropractic care as soon as possible. Because we have treated so many accident and personal injury cases, we can make the process as pain-free as possible.

Here is what you can expect:

-Initial Examination: I conduct a detailed exam to evaluate the exact injuries.

-Referrals: I can order x-rays, MRI scans, or execute other referrals as needed.

-Diagnosis and Treatment Plan: I develop a complete diagnosis and treatment plan.

-Treatment: Treatment includes several options, such as gentle chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, decompression therapy, and ultrasound.

-Length: I usually prescribe a treatment cycle of 2-3 times per week for 3 weeks, and then decrease office visits as you improve. I perform another detailed exam at the 6th- to 8th session to monitor your progress toward complete recovery.

-Insurance: My office is expert at navigating the complicated web of insurance. My office will contact the responsible party's insurance company and submit your claim directly to them. I generally accept payment directly from the insurance company so you do not need to pay me directly.

Sports Injuries

I personally love exercise and regret when I am unable to participate in sports. When I see a new patient with a sports-related injury I want to know the injury occurred. I have the patient fill out a detailed but simple history form. I then design a specific exam to fully evaluate the injury. Sometimes I order x-rays or MRI. Occasionally I will make a referral to a medical specialist for a 2nd opinion. Once I have completed the exam and reviewed any x-rays, I make a diagnosis and a treatment plan.

Treatment usually consists of chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy and ultrasound. I will usually see a sports injury patient 1-3 times per week for 3 weeks then decrease office visits as they improve. I monitor progress on each visit and perform a more detailed re-exam after the 6th to 8th session.

Low Back Pain

I see more patients with lower back pain than pain elsewhere in the body. I have the patient fill out a detailed but simple history form before I examine them. Based on the history form and my patient interview, I design a specific examination. Sometimes I order x-rays or MRI. Occasionally, I will make a referral to a medical specialist for a 2nd opinion. Once I have completed the exam and reviewed any x-rays, I make a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Yes, children of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care too. I have treated boys and girls of all ages for various problems including scoliosis, asthma, headache, neck or back pain and "growing pains" with excellent results.

My treatment protocol is similar to that of an adult. Sometimes I order x-rays or MRI. Occasionally I will make a referral to a medical specialist for a 2nd opinion. Once I have completed the exam and reviewed any x-rays, I make a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
